Matcha at golden hour 🍵

This shoot with was completely unplanned but turned into something so special.

We’re usually photographing our pieces on plain white backdrops or indoors, but this time we chose nature for our backdrop and captured everything on film. I absolutely love how soft, dreamy, and alive the images feel. Definitely a reminder that product photography doesn’t have to feel clinical.

As a commercial photographer, I often default to clean, minimal setups, forgetting that I’m also an artist who gets to play. This little shoot sparked a new way of imagining my pottery more artfully.

Directing instead of being behind the camera was a challenge, but caught every detail perfectly. Couldn’t have done it without them. 💖
