Switzerland goes well beyond the postcard.

The mountain views get the attention, but it's the experience that stays with people: lunch on a terrace while trains move through the Alps below, swimming in lakes surrounded by peaks in summer, riding panoramic rail journeys, then returning in winter for ski days and villages that feel completely transformed under fresh snow.

Ready to find your Switzerland?

Where summer lives: island edition

Some islands are about slowing down. Some are made for adventure. Some become the trip you measure every summer against after that.

French Polynesia for impossibly blue water and overwater mornings. Hawaii for variety, where beaches, volcanoes, and luxury resorts can all belong to the same trip. Capri for that classic Italian summer feeling. The Seychelles for unique coastlines and incredible reef access. Mallorca for hidden coves, long seaside lunches, and the kind of Mediterranean summer people spend all year waiting for.

The right island changes everything. Let me find yours!

Some trips are worth doing properly. These are three of them.

Japan. The food culture alone makes it worth the flight. Add the precision of the hospitality, the range from Tokyo to Kyoto to the ski resorts of Hokkaido, and it becomes one of the most consistently excellent trips I design.

Safari. The wildlife, the guides, and the lodge experience at the top end of the market is something no nature documentary fully prepares you for.

The Maldives. The distance is real, the cost is real, and the experience tends to permanently reset what clients think a hotel stay can be.

Three different trips. The same result: clients who come home saying it was worth every dollar. Get in touch if any of these are on your list.

Some places have always been sacred to those who seek something more.

Ancient Mayan astronomers chose this very land for its extraordinary connection to the sky. Today, in Cancun, Mexico, invites you to discover what they already knew, Punta Nizuc is unlike anywhere else on earth.

Reserve with me and enjoy added amenities too: priority upgrade, daily breakfast, complimentary arrival transfer, a hydrotherapy session, and more.

Most people put Australia on the list and never quite get around to booking it. Here's your sign.

The range in one country is remarkable. World-class cities, ancient wilderness, extraordinary marine life, and a food and wine culture that consistently surprises first-time visitors.

The only thing worse than never going to Australia is waiting another year to start planning it. Message me to get started!

One of the most important things I do when planning a trip: make sure the timing is right. The same destination can feel completely different depending on the month you go.

Shoulder season versus peak. The difference between crowds and calm. The wildlife migration that only happens once a year. The bloom that lasts two weeks. The weather window that makes a remote destination actually accessible.

Getting the timing right isn't just a nice-to-have. It's often the difference between a good trip and an exceptional one.

That's something I pay close attention to with every itinerary I plan. If a destination has been on your list, let's make sure you're going at exactly the right moment.

Some of the best trips I plan aren't for couples or solo travelers. They're for three generations under one roof, or a family milestone that needed to be done properly.

The options are more varied than most families realize. Safari. Private villa. Small ship cruise. Ski chalet. Luxury ranch. Cultural journey with a private guide. The format matters less than the intention behind it.

The common thread in every great family trip I've planned: intentional design from the start.

If you're planning a family trip and want it to actually work, that's exactly what I do. Reach out to start the conversation.

Wellness travel has changed. The best wellness trips today are designed around how you actually want to feel when you come home.

For some clients, it's a full immersion: Ayurvedic programs in Sri Lanka, thermal circuits in Iceland, or a dedicated retreat in Tuscany. For others, it's more woven in: morning yoga in Bali, a hammam in Morocco, a long hike in the Swiss Alps, followed by a serious dinner.

A few things I always build into wellness itineraries: spa programs rooted in local culture, not just a massage menu. Outdoor movement that actually connects you to where you are. Culinary wellness: farm-to-table dining and cooking classes that treat food as part of the restoration. And mindfulness is built into the schedule rather than squeezed in.

If you're thinking about a trip centered around how you feel, not just where you go, I'd love to help design it.

Most travelers do not think much about hospitality until it is missing.

It is the difference between arriving at a hotel or lodge and immediately feeling looked after versus feeling like just another confirmation number.

This is Tash the assistant manager at Singita Pamushana and she could run circles around anyone when it comes to hospitality. There wasn't one job she didn't do. She was everywhere all at once and it was remarkable to watch her connect with so many guests and make their stay as memorable as she made mine.

The best hotels and lodges make things feel easy. They notice the small details, anticipate needs before you ask, and handle everything in a way that feels natural rather than performative.

That is a big part of what I pay attention to when I travel. I am meeting with the managers, the staff, and the people shaping the guest experience behind the scenes. That is where I see hospitality in action. It is also where the value of real relationships becomes so clear.

Those relationships matter. They help me understand how a property actually operates, how they care for guests, how they handle special requests, and how they respond when something does not go as planned.

As a travel advisor, I work in that same space. I am thinking about the details behind the scenes before you ever arrive. How the trip flows, which hotel is truly the right fit for your style, where a room choice matters, and what small adjustments will make the experience better.

When everything is aligned, travel feels easier, smoother, and far more personal. That starts long before check-in.

If you want your next trip to feel seamless from the very beginning, that is exactly where I come in along with my trusted partners like .

I’ve definitely noticed more of my clients leaning toward boutique hotels over large resorts lately, and once you experience the difference, it is easy to understand why.

A great boutique property can feel much more personal. Fewer rooms, more character, and a level of attention that is hard to match on a larger scale. They also tend to feel more connected to the destination itself, which often makes the stay far more memorable.

Palma Riad in Mallorca is a great example.

With just 11 suites set inside a beautifully restored residence in Palma’s old town, it offers a much more intimate experience than a traditional resort stay.

This is the kind of place where the team really knows the city and can help shape your time there in a way that feels personal, whether that means pointing you toward a great tapas spot that night or helping you discover a quieter part of Palma the next morning.

For the right client, starting with a boutique hotel like this can really shape the whole feel of the trip. It becomes less about just having a place to stay and more about choosing a property that adds something meaningful to the overall experience.

If you're looking for that unique boutique stay, I’ll help you find the hotel and build your curated itinerary around it.
