Valencia Boxing

Valencia Boxing Valencia Boxing Club is a youth outreach program based in Bolingbrook, IL that serves Bolingbrook and it's surrounding communities.

This program started in April of 2008 at the Bolingbrook Park
District, it was the intentions at that time to instruct youth and
adults on the fundamentals of boxing. The instructor, Marcelo
Valencia, does not hold any records or championship titles nor
does he have a long fight career to speak of. But, he was
trained at an early age by Archie “ the Mongoose” Moore who
showed him more than b

oxing lessons, but life lessons on how
to respect yourself and others and how to give back to your

The boxing program has brought many youths into the gym and
has brought many off of the street by enticing them with the idea
of boxing. But with the lessons on boxing they also received
some self worth, discipline, sportsmanship and courage to stand
for what they believe in. Valencia Boxing has dedicated time to
meet with other trainers in the Chicago area to network and find
boxing shows and events that the youth can participate in. To
date these kids have competed in the Jr. Olympics, Silver
Gloves, Golden Gloves, Chicago Park Boxing Shows and
countless local club shows and fund raisers

Come out and support Valencia Boxing as Coach Bertin showcases some of our talented young boxers during a special mini sparring exhibition!

🎟️ Gift cards and prizes will be given away to audience members throughout the event.

🥊 Boxer Check In Time:
⏰ 4:15 PM to 5:00 PM

Please arrive early for check in and to get organized before the exhibition begins.

This weekend was a true reflection of what Valencia Boxing stands for: community, discipline, service, and heart.

A huge thank you to our incredible Valencia Boxing team for volunteering with the Veterans of Foreign Wars and helping sell poppy flowers for such a meaningful cause, honoring and supporting those who have served our country. Your dedication to giving back does not go unnoticed, and we are grateful to stand beside organizations that continue to serve our veterans and community.

We also want to congratulate our Valencia Boxing fighters who competed in the Junior Olympics this weekend. Your hard work, courage, discipline, and determination inside the ring make us proud every single day. Win or lose, stepping into that ring takes heart, and each of you represented Valencia Boxing with strength and character.
