Two sisters, two rings, one beautiful story:

We had the rings made when we would both be getting married and changing our last names soon. Since we were going through that season together, we wanted a way to symbolize our connection as sisters.

So we had our maiden names etched into the rings with a small clover on each side. We're Irish, so the clovers felt like a fun and meaningful nod to our heritage. No matter what our last names become, we will always share the same beginning.

We chose gold because the women in our family have always been gold girlies, our grandma, our mom, and now us. It felt classic and very on brand for our family.

The rings are simple, but they represent a shared chapter in our lives, two sisters stepping into marriage at the same time, while still holding onto where we came from.

What this ring means to our client...
This ring has a great deal of metaphysical meaning to me, and I came up with the idea nearly 40 years ago. The lotus flower has three layers with 5,4,and 3 petals in order from the bottom up, arranged in a particular alignment that has astrological meaning. The number of petals at each layer has meaning also. The single stone represents the unity of The Trinity. The sides, the heart represents love, and the lamp of wisdom represents wisdom. The inside inscription says, "Let love and wisdom be my guide."

Following their visit, he delighted her by crafting a special ring that she affectionately calls "Purple Rain". It features a unique cut purple amethyst center stone, adorned with purple and white diamonds, all delicately set in two-tone gold.
