According to Nathan Renfro & Team at the GIA Lab in Carlsbad, California, these newly discovered gems (spring 2022), were identified as: Color Change Fluorescent Chromium-Vanadium MALAYA GARNET with various rare earth element inclusions! Ultra rare GOLD CONTENT was discovered in some pieces by Craig Lynch GG, at his lab in Phoenix, Arizona.

This is the only gemstone in the world showing up to 6 different colors, depending on the type of light used. In this video you see the following colors:

Daylight color
395nm UV color
365nn UV color

Dragon Garnet is found in nearly identical sizes as Demantoid from the original Bobrovka river deposit. Gemstones over one carat are considered very rare, cut gems over two carats are extremely rare and gems over 3 carats of weight and larger are of museum / top investment quality.
We source these rare gems directly at’ the mine. We do not purchase them in Arusha like everyone else. We were the first original source and we maintain this leading position on the global market.
