Sapphire may be famous for blue, but she has range. Pink, yellow, green, purple, orange, colorless and just about every shade in between. In fact, sapphire is corundum in every color except red…because red gets its own name: ruby. ❤️

At Nicole Mera, sourcing exceptional sapphires is kind of our thing. Still smiling from last night 🥹💎

What a NIGHT. Seeing longtime clients, friends and family, meeting so many new faces, trying on jewels, popping champagne and laughing together… it felt like so much more than a pop-up. It felt like community. 🤍

I know how busy life is, and the fact that so many of you chose to spend part of your evening with me genuinely means more than I can say.

I get to design beautiful jewelry for a living, which is pretty incredible. But getting to know the people who wear it, hearing your stories, celebrating your milestones and seeing pieces I dreamed up become part of your lives? That’s the part that makes all the 9 to 5 (and then some 😉) worth it.

Dolly once said, “Find out who you are and do it on purpose.” I think about that a lot. Building Nicole Mera has certainly required a little courage, a lot of work, and doing things my own way. Nights like last night remind me just how lucky I am that I get to do it alongside all of you.

Thank you for showing up. Thank you for supporting my small business. And thank you for giving my jewels such beautiful lives beyond my jewelry box. 💎✨

Proof your diamond reset doesn’t have to look traditional or bridal ✨

Maybe you still love your diamond, but the ring itself no longer feels like you. Maybe your style has changed. Maybe your life has changed. Or maybe you simply want to wear your diamond in a way that feels completely different from a traditional engagement ring.

That was exactly the goal with this custom reset for my client.

My client came to me with a traditional three stone diamond ring and one very clear request: she wanted something modern, gold forward, a little chunky, and decidedly not bridal.

The harder part? She couldn’t find anything online that felt quite right. Instead of searching for the perfect inspiration photo, we looked at the jewelry she already loved. Two of her favorite rings had beautiful rope detailing and an old world influence, but still felt modern and wearable.

From there, we sketched. We pulled inspiration. We borrowed elements from each. We elevated proportions and details proportions and eventually we landed on this spectacular domed ring.

A low profile, custom fabricated design that feels substantial without being heavy, glamorous without being flashy, and completely different from the engagement ring it once was - and that might be my favorite part of a diamond reset.
