What happens when a customer mails in 80 pounds of jewelry scrap and nearly all of it turns out to be steel? That is exactly what this clip covers - a real mail-in story where about 95% of the submission was non-precious steel pieces, but the remaining 5% still contained genuine gold necklaces, silver necklaces, and pendants that added up to a surprisingly solid payout.

The story does not stop there. After sorting through all 80 pounds, the customer asked if he could get the non-precious steel jewelry returned to him. Instead of turning him down, the team packed up roughly 75 pounds of that material and shipped it all back - at no extra charge.

This is a real example of how the mail-in process works even in edge cases. You do not need to know exactly what you have or be able to identify every piece. In this clip, we're breaking down silver premiums in real time - specifically how you can pick up silver rounds for just $1.50 over spot price, and why that matters compared to the $10 to $15 premiums you'll find at most dealers.

The conversation gets interesting fast: we look back at 2021 and 2022 when silver was nearly impossible to source.
