Motivation goes up and down. Therefore, you can be motivated all day long. But if you’re not disciplined and put in the work consistently, you’re still not going to advance. And, don’t waste time getting on social media talking about how people hating on you… not supporting you… don’t believe in you… trying to hold you down… trying to hold you back… so now you unapologetic for this, and unapologetic that. The best way you can shut their mouth is just succeed. Put in the work and succeed and quit putting so much energy into trying to tell people off under the cover of social media.

In the 58 years I’ve been on this planet. I’ve learned this… people will attempt to slow down your progress, all while they are diligently working on theirs😂😂😂. Just keep doing you. Because what happens is this…. you’ll slow down to support them and five years from now you’ll be the only one not moving forward. You’ll be stuck in the same place watching and assisting while them grow all while they are superficially praising you for being such a good “behind the scenes supporter” for them. Take some time out from pushing other’s visions to move forward in what God has called you to do. You cannot allow other peoples comfortable places with you to keep you where you are.

I woke up with this revelation in my head so I thought I would share it. You all know I’m entrepreneur: I’m an author, own a beauty salon, and recently adding make handcrafted jewelry to my arsenal. However, my personal goal is full-time authorship. I woke up this morning and when I sat up in bed, the first thought to my mind was (and I know this was the Holy Spirit) “your real audience has been waiting for you to catch up to your self-worth.” Others can often see a level in you way above that which you perceive of yourself. And they refuse to buy you cheap because buying you cheap keeps you in the same mindset. So they’ll watch and wait until you level up. You should thank God for those people.
