Minneapolis Park Markets debut today! New weekly or biweekly markets for local businesses and makers to sell goods and services will be held at Lake Harriet, Minnehaha Falls, Water Works, and The Commons this summer.
The first two markets launch today, Friday, June 2. Water Works Park Market is 10 am-2 pm, and Minnehaha Falls is 4-8 pm. The Lake Harriet Park Market debuts on Sunday, June 4, 2:30-6:30 pm, and The Commons starts next Wednesday, June 7, 11 am-3 pm.
This new initiative will create attractions that enhance the sense of community at parks while helping local entrepreneurs, producers and artists share their goods and services and grow their business ventures.
