We attempt to bring the beauty and a sense of the sacred that exists all around us into our art through natural elements such as stone and metal paying homage to the natural and mystical elements that bring depth and spirituality into our lives. I truly enjoy working in stone and metal, and my soul sings as I grow and make something new that challenges me. Jewelry is just one of the mediums through which I like to express myself artistically. Seeing a rough stone and pieces of precious metal come together to form a beautiful finished piece is one of the most satisfying feelings I can experience. Well I got these done on Wednesday, but with the kitten going to her new owner and then learning my mom had fallen two days ago and broke her femur and was about to head into surgery in a few hours, I was on such an emotional rollercoaster ride that I had no spoons left for that kind of social media posting lol

The good news is the kitten was doing okay with the transport person and moms surgery was fast and went perfectly so I can finally catch my breath and get grounded again.

SO. These are finished, yay me! They will be available in my case at Artbeat Gallery Artbeat Gallery Studio and Gift Shop by this coming Sunday afternoon.

Artbeat Gallery is located at 1107 'L" St, Sacramento CA and is open Wednesdays through Sundays, 10am to 7pm, and closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

Woohooo! I scheduled my second event for the year so far!!

I am all set to be a maker at the Lavender Estates Fall Makers Fair out in Wilton, California once again!

It is easily one of my most favorite events to do and I was so sad last year to not be able to do it because my truck was down and I was so sick. But the truck is working and I am healthy - so yeeehaw it is going to be a blast!!!

I will inside as usual for both days so that is where you will find me!!

It's truly a magical spot and all the vendors are incredible and talented and don't even get me started on the beverages and food especially the products produced by Lavender Estates - SO good you guys!

Finally was able to restock my jewelry case at Artbeat Gallery Studio and Gift Shop !!!

Due to being sick and without my truck for most of last year and the first half of this year, I have not had the opportunity to restock the case and get everything polished until the last 2 weeks

I have added a BUNCH of new pieces so there will be lots of new jewelry to check out!

I do also take commissions, so if you are looking for a custom piece, let me know and we can talk and see what you have in mind.

So this little sweetheart is a feral kitten that adopted the adult ferals on my property so of course as I do with *any* cats that come onto the property on a consistent, regular basis - I contacted my friend with a trap and we trapped her and got her fixed - which is what I always do.

However she was so young and pretty that the folks doing fosters to get strays adopted ALL wanted her but no one wanted to tame her to get her to the point where she was able to be handled and thus able to be adopted.

Well I happen to be very very good at taming animals, even older feral cats, so rather than just releasing her to continue to be a feral cat, I broke out my crates, and started to socialize her so we could get her into a foster situation to be adopted.

That was a couple of weeks ago. Yesterday she was on my lap and chest, purring up a storm and loving kisses on her head and moo-moos and scratches and petting and snuggles.

I figure in a couple of weeks, she will be able to move into a foster home and be on her way to find her forever home! 🤞

But isn't she FREAKING ADORABLE??? 💖💖💖💖

There will be a lot of amazing gemstones & rocks, artisan jewelry, cabochons, beads, crystals, and fossils available for purchase and everyone who comes will get a green calcite specimen.

Once again, everyone who attends will get a small free rock at the SMS table, so don't miss out!
