Earlier this spring, Eric Banderas, our Arborist Market Manager, had the opportunity to lead a Rope 101 presentation for a group of more than 40 arborists in Decatur, Georgia. Hosted by the Georgia Arborist Association, Inc. the session focused on reinforcing the fundamentals that matter most in the field—rope construction, proper selection, handling, inspection, and real‑world applications.
The class brought together arborists from across the region for a hands‑on, interactive discussion centered on safety, performance, and best practices. From understanding how different rope constructions behave under load to recognizing wear indicators and extending service life, the presentation emphasized practical knowledge arborists can apply immediately on the job.
We’re proud to collaborate with organizations like the Georgia Arborist Association to support ongoing education within the arborist community. Sharing knowledge at the foundational level helps create safer work environments, more informed decision‑making, and stronger outcomes for everyone working aloft.
Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to a great session. We look forward to continuing to support education and skill‑building initiatives throughout the arborist industry.
