We’re back! Here are a few BOOK related items we’ve been creating for The Treehouse Reading and Arts Center.

The Treehouse Reading and Arts Center is a local independent bookshop and learning center. Their mission is to inspire, promote, and support literacy goals in the community.

Located at 587 Main St. Suite 304,
New York Mills, NY. Their hours are Monday through Saturday, opening at 10am.

We began “filming” episodes for SHARED DNA, my new vlog with my granddaughter. Tori J.

Our first edition is going to be a conversation about how Tori has been teaching herself to create jewelry*. She’s been watching a bunch of YouTube and TikTok videos - BUT, I like to believe she’s just exercising the genes she inherited from her Grandma.

Obviously, my jewelry biz, Tori Sophia Designs, was named after her, but she said she doesn’t know the story behind it! (We will be discussing that on our next episode.) So, stay tuned!

Here’s a few photos of necklace she threw together last night. She calls it “The Pac-Man Club”… kinda cute, right?

Update: nope didn’t happen in 2017... but I think 2019 will be the year! Stay tuned.

Not making any promises but the kiln is coming out of storage, and Tori does need a business to run - since she thinks she's the boss over at OOAK Artisan Showcase. I'll let her be the CEO of clay!

OOAK Artisan Showcase has a Holiday Creative Challenge exhibit in their Rome NY gallery (Nov. 20 - Dec. 31)

I have added several beautiful artisan jewelry designs I have received in past swaps and as gifts over the years...so check the post to see if you spy your work!
