One Girl's Dream: Charming My Way Into Your Heart

My name is Tarrin McCarthy and I am the creator of Flour City Charms. A little about myself: I'm 32, live in Rochester New York and have been married for five years to my wonderful Irish husband, Leigh. Leigh encouraged me to pursue my passion and gave me the confidence to start my own business. If it wasn't for him believing I could do it, then I definitely would of just looked at this as project and not something I could sell to share with others.

So I'v'e continued to make everything from tiny cookies, to donuts, to candy. And I turned some into magnets and earrings, and more recently, charms. And I chose the name as homage to my hometown, Rochester, as it is known as the Flour City. And after selling to friends and coworkers, and then some craft shows, I have finally taken the leap to Etsy.

I really hope you love these clay creations as much as I do, because I'm so excited to share them!
