DEADLINE TO BOOK - November 14

A quick update about these workshops! Since I will be spreading all of the butterflies myself, the registration deadline for these workshops will be 2 weeks before the workshop. This will give me plenty of time to prepare everything and have the butterflies spread and ready to craft with.

The registration for the November 28th workshop will close November 14th.

The registration for the December 12th workshop will close November 28th.

Please be sure to book your spot before these dates to make sure your specimen will be ready for you and I can plan on amount of supplies to bring for the class.

Tier 1 gives you the opportunity to build your own display with a pre-spread butterfly specimen of your choice. The specimen will be fully intact, pinned, dried and ready to craft with prior to the workshop so no stress about pinning! There are 3 species to choose from, 4 of each per workshop!

Tier 2 is the more budget friendly option, but just as beautiful! You will be working with the same size dome and same variety of materials, but instead of a full butterfly it's a large wing of your choice. That's okay! Just give you more room to decorate! 5 tier 2 spaces available per workshop.

This is one of those lovely moments that I am so excited to share about!! As I try and be better about my presence here on social media, I am going to *attempt* to share my process through this adventure.
This collection is from a very lovely lady whom I met at one of the recent festivals and she asked if I would like some of the insects she has collected and if I could make her 1 piece with the male Hercules beetle. Of course I said YES!!
So here is our starting picture. Mr beetle there needs to be rehydrated and positioned so his legs aren't so wonky. Wish me luck. I may try and make a video about it. We shall see 🤣🤣
Thank you in advance to the amazing Goose, who gave me an instruction book of her own creation and experience to help guide me (and anyone else who purchases one through her) with easy step by step direction on how the heck to do all this.

Come see me today and tomorrow at the east ridge fall festival!

Located at Camp Jordan in East Ridge today from 10-5 and tomorrow from 11-4.

I'm unveiling my entomology booklet today! There's 10 copies in total with me today. It's been a work in progress for months and it's a compilation of everything I have learned in 7 years broken down and simplified to make it accessible to beginners. I wanted to make the booklet I wish I had when I first started. I also have some starter pinning kits, and various specimens for you to choose from to try your hand at pinning.

I also have SO many bones from the amount of animals I've processed or purchased that I have to unload at least half of my collection (this probably isn't even half) so come take your pick! I also have several of my typical displays.

My husband has been taking a lot of pictures with his fancy new camera, specifically displaying his love for birds. We have a few prints of his "Birds of Chattanooga" collection. So proud of him for finally doing this!

As usual Casey Bean art is on display with me as well! If it wasn't for them and my husband my business would not survive! They're the best co-owner I could ask for and it's a major bonus they can draw because then I get to sell their art and brag about them. They have a variety of prints as well as some mystery grab bags!

You guys may remember my post last year talking about my papaw Sal that has been dealing with a very aggressive form of leukemia, or you may have even wrote him a little note at Green Eyes Festival. Well today we have an exciting update!

Here he is with his new and shiny BLOOD! He finally found a match for a stem cell transplant and has been making good progress! I told my Meme he’s like a charcuterie board for a vampire.

He’s fought and fought and still continues to smile. Join me in telling papaw CONGRATULATIONS and good luck!!!
