After going through all of the comments and ideas, our association met and has decided the slogan to be put on the new signage in town will be................................................................
"Small town, Big Heart." There were 7 people who commented with this, so we changed our own rules. All 7 will get a $25 gift card to either, Little Cesars, 2 Rivers, or The Southern Farm Table. Please message our page if you see your name listed.

Today was an exciting day! Cooper Insurance Group had their ribbon cutting, it was a tad rainy, so we had it in doors! Wonderful snacks along with door prizes! They will be having the entries all week, so make sure to stop by and put your name in the drawing.

We did not choose Richton for our main office — Richton chose us. My wife, Heather Cooper, and I were both born and raised in Richton and Perry County and come from generations of deep family roots in this community. While life has taken us to different places over the years, this area has always remained home at heart, and we are honored to continue serving the people and families of Richton, Perry County, and the surrounding areas.”

Small town… BIG patriotic spirit 🇺🇸📚

The decorations are up and they turned out AMAZING! From the stunning red, white & blue entryway bows to the bold eagle and American flag display, our small town post office is looking extra festive and full of hometown pride. ❤️🤍💙

🏆RFSA announces its latest project…the sign at the car wash!! We are going to be creating a design and replacing the empty spaces that were left as a result of Hurricane Katrina. We want to give a HUGE Shoutout to Malcolm Edwards, who owns the sign, for allowing us to do this!! Now, we need your help…
We want to develop a motto/slogan for Richton similar to what other towns/cities have. For example: Hattiesburg, the Hub City; Petal, the Friendly City; Laurel, the City Beautiful; Lucedale, where People and Progress meet; Meridian, the Queen City. You get the idea!

Remember though, we are a town, not a city, if you want to use that in your suggestions.
