I don’t even know where to begin because I don’t really have words for this creation.🙏🏼💙

It’s not my place to define what it means. That belongs to the person who will receive it. Every piece reveals itself differently, and the deepest meaning is always found in the relationship between the medicine and the one it was created for.💜

Being a vessel for this work is deeply humbling. Not because I think that I’m all that, but because I’ve seen what art can awaken, reflect, and nourish in people. 🌅

This piece was created for my client/soul sister She is living with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, Types III and VII, a genetic connective tissue disorder that profoundly affects the joints. She is currently living with the painful collapse of the sternoclavicular joint, the joint where the collarbone meets the sternum. As she navigates this reality, this piece becomes more than adornment. It becomes a reminder of resilience, presence, and the strength that exists even in uncertainty.🙌🏼

To me, this creation speaks of the power of being exactly where you are. Of honoring the rupture, the softness, the confusion, the clarity, and the way they can all exist at the same time. We spend so much of life believing we have to wait until everything makes sense before we can trust ourselves.🥰

But perhaps the medicine is found in realizing that every part of the journey is sacred.🙌🏼

“Lolita” - New Creation ☀️

Named after my mom as I imagine her in her youth.

A young Puerto Rican girl on the island, full of light, laughter, possibility, and the kind of spirit that hadn’t yet learned what life would eventually ask of her.

Wrapped in Copper. Stones include Sunstone which carries warmth, vitality, and joy. Citrine reminds us of hope and abundance. Green tourmaline nurtures the heart and its capacity to keep growing. Carnelian awakens courage, creativity, and the spark to fully live. Pearls speak to the quiet wisdom that forms over time, layer by layer. There’s so much to this piece. 🙏🏼🌅🙏🏼
