While exploring the West Wing of the National Gallery, we came across a number of female impressionist artists. This portrait is by Cecilia Beaux. Titled Sita and Sarita, this is a second version she painted in 1921, the first one from 1893 hangs at the Musee D’Orsay. What I love about this painting is…it’s timelessness.
