How to silence the inner critic. The inner critic is comprised of everyone who has ever rejected you or said some ignorant comment about being an artist and for me it was Ms. Wasson my Color and Design teacher from back in the day. Everyone has a Ms. Wasson in their past. That one teacher who hates you because they hated themselves and they saw the younger version of themselves in you. That’s why I listen to audiobooks while working. So I don’t have to listen to Ms. Wasson in my head.

I’ve passed through the suck stage. Every artist or creative person knows what I mean… you have to push through it and eventually the painting or song or story will start to come together. I’m thinking of adding some red poppies to the bottom, what do you think?
