I am not a happy camper. I was taking a bird feeder down and just happened to see an out of place object in my peripheral vision.
I originally thought it was the biggest water moccasin I had ever seen( in my friggen yard and WORK AREA).
I ran upstairs to get my phone to record this beast.
After I was done recording it was time to chase him out.
I started throwing objects at him from upstairs and kept missing. I came downstairs to get on ground level with him and as soon as my feet hit the ground that MF turned towards me in a strike position with the loudest hiss and rattle??? Moccasin tails rattle?
I turned and ran with my butt tucked in just knowing he was going to get me.
I just encountered my first Eastern rattlesnake in my friggen yard and this brave snake soul calls bu****it on myself and this morning I'm still freaked out.
I will definitely be on the alert from this point on.
