Seller beware! I was contacted just minutes after posting my new floral set last night by an individual that asked if it was available for sale. Of course I said yes. The conversation was getting weird about forms of payment. I finally agreed to do the transaction through zelle. I figured my bank would protect me if it wasn't legit. She said the payment had been sent and asked if I received the email. I told her no. I had not received the funds and I didn't receive a text from my bank. All of a sudden I get a text from a number I don't recognize saying it was from zelle. That's when I knew something was up. I've never received a text from my bank without their logo attached to it and it's always sent by a 5 digit number, not a full blown phone number. I stopped corresponding immediately after my daughter said it was fishy. I just found out that it is a scam and that I need to contact zelle immediately. The picture I posted is of the person who is trying to scam me. For us new, green, and inexperienced makers, Just be careful. These heinous and disgusting individuals don't give a s**t if you're a starving artist, if you've got a family to feed, or if you have next to nothing. They only care about hurting people. From this point forward, I will not be responding to direct messages from people I do not know. Ya know what is sad, I was so excited that someone was interested in buying something that I worked so hard on. That it was good enough for someone wanting to buy it. I'm crushed and pi**ed! I found this very discouraging 🥺
