Jewelry By Jamaica I design wood and gemstone jewelry with an emphasis on bracelets. The importance of having jewelry that is the right fit is my main focus.

I also design and collaborate with Musicians and Clothing Brands to create wholesale jewelry for their brands. I have been making jewelry since 2009. When I first started making jewelry it was for a mission's trip for girls in Africa. Now I've continued in my craft to become a full fledged business owner. I truly love making jewelry and I'm excited to see how far it takes me. I love to design and create, and it's an amazing feeling to have a vision for something and then see it come to life.

Never a dull moment in my world, even when it’s just a quick walk outside. This is the largest worm I have ever seen!!

And don’t worry, I washed my hands before I opened the package and handled the cord.

I’ve handled these beads countless times, and seeing the texture this clearly still makes me pause. The natural character in every stone is one of the reasons I love working with gemstones.

Found out the hard way when I was putting on my bracelets (size 7.5”) that the higher they were on my arm, the tighter they felt. So I went up one size and they felt so much better.

Measuring your wrist for your size bracelet is the same as making sure you’re wearing the right size clothes. Get the wrong size and it looks oversized (and not in a good way.) Too tight and it looks like your whole arm can’t breathe.

This particular Hobby Lobby is 1 hr 45 min from my house. The closest one to my house is 45 minutes so please believe when I stop by I’ll be there for a minimum of 1 hr, haha. I love this place. Great discounts and such a variety of good stuff to buy.

So many hats to wear each day. These past few years have taught me so much. How most of the time life just ebbs and flows and you have to know how to go along with it instead of fighting the current.

I’m liking who I’m becoming.

I didn’t know I’d be this person. I didn’t know I’d enjoy being a Mom this much. I didn’t know I’d pick up jewelry again after putting it down for so many years. I definitely never thought in a million years I’d be living in tornado alley, haha. Cheers to this year and becoming.

Today has been a full day. Full of emotions, memories, phone calls, texts, and messages. I feel grateful for all the people in my life, and for those who wished me Happy Birthday. Another year older, hopefully wiser, and definitely in a better place than I was last year.
