Owner Peggy Hutchison finds and re-furbishes cool, retro household items and furniture. She sews toys, freelances as a production wardrobe assistant, makes elaborate costumes, and is an artist. Her inventory of refurbished or neat original-condition collectibles reflects her love of retro, nostalgic items, and sometimes has a western theme. Peggy has a creative way of looking at things, and can sp
ot a hidden gem on a dusty shelf, or see the treasure that can be made to shine again from the "junk" others pass by without giving a second glance. She uses her artistic talent to add special details by hand to make her inventory unique. They are handmade one-at-a-time, and are ready to be played with. Peggy shared the most fabulous childhood and upbringing along with her brothers and sister, and is proud to be part of a family where every member is creative, artistic and productive. Making art has been a way of living for as long as she can remember. Now, together with her supportive husband, she is striving to give her own children the same strong foundation, access to creative materials and ideas, self-esteem, and standards of ethics. Sometimes Peggy sells together with her mom, folk artist doll maker Marjorie McCue; or with her jewelry designer sister, Paula Ellis. She shares life with a menagerie of pets. Her love of dogs inspired the name Seven Dog Vintage. "See you at the market!"
