I just finished this fabulous necklace (thanks Mark Z).
This is a marquise Sphene that weighs over 8.5 carats and of course a few sparklies thrown in. Sphene is a rare collector's stone with high luster and remarkable fire. In fact sphene has a higher dispersion rating than diamond. This impressive large marquise from Madagascar is a good example of the best that sphene has to offer.
