Happy ! I'm reflecting this Saturday on how life was a year ago this weekend. I was setup and about to have the best show of my career at Mt Gretna, despite temps in the 90s with humidity. I was supposed to return this year, was accepted and looking forward to it, but, as you know, this year’s health concerns forced me to cancel.
Last year, I was also preparing myself to say goodbye to Raven and I still miss her so very much. Not much later, we were receiving bad news about Cheddar. We were told he had maybe a month or two to live due to problems with his liver. A year later, Cheddar is still here. Not sure if it’s the steroid or the supplements he’s taking, but he’s a very fat, happy orange cat so I’m just grateful he’s here.
Life certainly has changed a lot in the past year but I suppose I can use that to think in a positive way. Life will probably change a lot again in the next year and there’s no reason it can’t be for the better. I’ve decided to withdraw from all remaining 2026 shows, to focus on my health. I’m hoping that my creativity will return this fall and that I’ll be back to adding new items to my shop. In the meantime, there is still quite a lot of jewelry there and ready to find its new home with you. Let me know if you have any questions on a piece or if you need another picture or two to make a decision.
