‼️ We are FULL‼️ We have no more space. More and more animals arrive at our doors every day, and we are at a breaking point.

Just today, 10 dogs were surrendered from the same home due to an eviction, adding to the 29 dogs brought in today alone.. With over 160 dogs already in our care, we simply cannot take in more—but we also cannot say no. Every day, more pets come through our doors, confused and scared, and we have nowhere to put them. Our staff is running around trying to make space but we are out of options, and that means lives are at risk.

We never want to make these decisions, but if we don’t move animals out, we will have no choice. Dogs who are loving, adoptable, and full of life will be euthanized—not because they’ve done anything wrong, but because we have nowhere left to put them.

😞 We are begging for your help. Starting TOMORROW, March 12th, through March 23, adoption fees for ALL dogs and cats will be just $10, thanks to BISSELL Pet Foundation’s Empty the Shelters event.

If you’ve ever thought about adopting, this is the time. You won’t just be giving an animal a home—you’ll be saving a life.

📍 We are open 10 AM – 6 PM at 111 W Hunting Park Ave. See our adoptable animals here: https://bit.ly/AdoptatACCTPhilly

We have that dawg mentality, even if it's sometimes just a little more... puppy.

Speaking of, Saquon and DeVonta are two Akita-type puppies looking for FOSTER homes through our Philadelphia headquarters. We are looking for families to help prepare them for adoption over the next few weeks (and to gear them up for a fun event next month!🏈).

If you can help, please send an email to [email protected]!

Even if you can't today, please consider signing-up for the future at https://www.pspca.org/foster. The more fosters we have, the more lives we can save.

Milo was adopted from us over FOUR years ago when he was just a puppy.

Unfortunately, his family no longer wants him

They seem to be struggling with the balance of their toddler being able to respect Milo's space which is causing Milo to dislike the toddler in the home.

We sent our trainer to the adopters home to try and keep Milo happy, in the only home he's ever known, but Milo's family is not interested in seeking or maintaining any kind of training or management.

Does this sound like I'm throwing the adopter under her bus? Because I kinda am. When a dog, who has been in the same home since he was a puppy, gets kicked out four years later, it's not a great look for the dog and a lot of people would assume that the dog did something wrong to deserve being exiled from the only family that they've ever known but… That's not the case here. You would think that a dog would have to do something pretty horrendous for a family to give up on him without even trying training, but that's exactly what this is. And I'm not looking for people to bash or dog pile on the adopters in the comments I'm just being very frank because I will not allow one of my dogs to look bad in the scenario of a failed adoption because the humans are the ones who are at fault here.

Milo has some anxious tendencies, but he's not an aggressive dog. He's a nervous dog. He's crate and house trained. He's roughly 4 1/2 years old. His leash skills are pretty good. He loves sun bathing and running around the yard and he adores other dogs.

We would love to get him out of this person's home and into a loving foster home as soon as possible, for Milo's sake he deserves to be in a home that values him and will put effort and time into him and make him feel like a real member of the family. He deserves that.

If you're able to Foster Milo, please fill out a Foster application www.phillybullyteam.org. If you're already approved, please send us an email info at phillybullyteam.org
