The Speedmaster 38 has always offered a more compact take on Omega’s legendary chronograph, but its latest redesign brings it noticeably closer to the classic Speedmaster formula.

Omega has introduced seven new references, with updates throughout the case, dial, bezel, and bracelet. On the black-dial steel model, that means a wider aluminum bezel with the traditional Dot-Over-Ninety detail, sharper tapered lugs, circular subdials, and a matte black dial that gives the watch a much stronger Moonwatch resemblance. It’s also the only model of the seven to go completely date-free.

The bracelet has been reworked as well, combining vertically brushed main links with narrow polished intermediary links and Omega’s comfort-release adjustment system.

Powering the black-dial version is the new Calibre 3332, while the six date-equipped models receive the Calibre 3330. Both are automatic Co-Axial chronograph movements, COSC-certified, and offer a 52-hour power reserve.

With 100 meters of water resistance rounding out the package, the updated Speedmaster 38 takes a familiar formula and gives it a cleaner, more traditional Speedmaster look without losing the smaller 38mm proportions that set it apart.

Hamilton is taking the Khaki Field Murph back to where it all started.

The new 38mm “Stardust” Murph introduces a textured blue dial inspired by an interstellar comet, with a luminous blue center that gradually fades to black toward the edges. It’s a fitting update for a watch forever tied to Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar, where the original Murph played a key role.

Beyond the new dial, the formula remains familiar. The 38mm stainless steel case measures 11.1mm thick, with cathedral hands, applied Arabic numerals, a sapphire crystal, and 100 meters of water resistance.

Inside is Hamilton’s H-10 automatic movement with an 80-hour power reserve, and you can choose between a three-link stainless steel bracelet or a black leather strap with white contrast stitching.

It’s now the third color option for the 38mm Murph alongside black and white, but arguably the one that leans hardest into the watch’s cinematic history.

The Omega Speedmaster 38 just got its biggest update yet, bringing the compact chronograph closer to the iconic Moonwatch Professional than ever before.

Across seven new references, Omega has reworked some of the details enthusiasts have wanted to see changed for years. The black-dial steel model makes that evolution especially clear, with a wider aluminum bezel featuring the classic Dot-Over-Ninety, more tapered lugs, circular subdials replacing the previous oval design, and a cleaner matte black dial. It’s also the only reference in the new collection to ditch the date entirely.

The Moonwatch influence carries over to the redesigned bracelet, with vertically brushed main links, slim polished intermediary links, and Omega’s comfort-release adjustment system.

Inside, the black-dial model gets the new no-date Calibre 3332, while the other six references use the date-equipped Calibre 3330. Both are automatic Co-Axial chronograph movements with COSC certification and a 52-hour power reserve.

Add 100 meters of water resistance, and the new Speedmaster 38 feels less like a smaller alternative to the Moonwatch and more like a compact Speedmaster with an identity of its own.

The Cartier Révélation d’une Panthère is one of the most unique and artistic watches Cartier has ever created.

Housed in a 37mm 18k rose gold case with a diamond-set bezel, this Cartier watch features an extraordinary black dial filled with tiny gold beads suspended in a clear liquid. Tilt the watch, and the beads begin to move across the dial, gradually revealing the face of Cartier’s iconic panther before the image disappears again.

Rather than simply placing the famous Panthère de Cartier motif on the dial, the Révélation d’une Panthère turns it into a constantly changing display.

This Audemars Piguet Royal Oak takes the idea of a full-gold sports watch about as far as it can go.

Crafted entirely from 18-carat pink gold, the 41mm case, bezel, dial, and bracelet are set with more than 1,100 brilliant-cut diamonds totaling roughly 9 carats. Even the pink gold dial is fully set, with matching counters and applied hour markers breaking up the diamonds without taking away from the Royal Oak's unmistakable design.

Underneath all of that is still a serious mechanical watch, powered by a selfwinding movement with a 70-hour power reserve.
