Metzler Metalcraft Custom Chain Maille Jewelry and other accessories and amusements in chain. Necklaces, Bracelets and Earrings are available individually and in sets.

We make chainmaille jewelry using Anodized and Bright Aluminum mostly, with some exceptions - enamelled copper, brass and titanium, as well as silver and gold on request. We have jewelry for men, women and children as well as functional items like watches, belts, hair pins, brooches and candle displays. Further, we are available to do repairs and alterations. Who "We" are however are Erik and Tayl

or Metzler. Erik started working with Chain Maille roughly 10 years ago with some friends in High School. He started primarily focused on armor but quickly made his first bracelet shortly there after. Though he tinkered with chain off and on for the next 10 years it wasn't till the last year that he delved back into the art at full force. Erik started making jewelry as a possible business in December of 2011 thanks to the encouragement of Angel at the now,and sadly, defunct Angel's Innovations. Taylor, though an avid crafter and crocheter for many years, only started weaving maille with the creation of Metzler Metalcraft as a business venture. She picked up extremely quickly. Contrary to our last update, Metzler Metalcraft is officially ended. We moved cross country and sold off all our display materials. We still have the supplies to make pieces, so will still take requests, but aren't doing shows anymore. If you have any interest, let us know.

So, this is still technically a thing. But we had a kid last year and with the advent of small hands, we decided small rings didn't mix well with those small hands. We aren't doing shows for the next few years, but we will take requests were possible and orders. We also still have some stuff in Palmgren's Engravables in Petaluma. We'll update from time to time, expecially if anything changes. We do still technically have enough stock for a small fair.

Depending on various factors, we might be at Rivertown Revival with coming summer in Petaluma. It's a really fun event as a visitor, should be a lot of fun as a vendor too! :)
