It has been an amazing 6 years of growth, blessings, love, support and beautiful hair.
I am so honored that I have gotten to do this and build some amazing friendships and relationships over the years.
•
•
However, it is bittersweet for me to have to walk away from my career, I am hopeful for a return. Honestly, I do not know when or if I’ll return but my goodbye is not set in stone forever.
•
I will be taking time away to set my focus on my family.
•
I am saddened to walk away but filled with so much gratitude and expectation for what’s to come.
I have enjoyed these last 6 years, and do not regret anything.
•
I am so thankful for my 10th Ave. crew for embracing me and welcoming me in the middle of a pandemic.
•
•
It has been nothing but live and support and for that, I am beyond thankful. I will be finishing up, mid/late April, so until then beautiful hair and conversations will be had.
•
Again, I say thank you all for your support over the years. 💕
It has been such an amazing career!

I absolutely LOVE teaching clients about techniques, products and giving suggestions.
•
This 1st time client had a few concerns:
•As she called them “dog ears” around the front of her face.
• Heaviness in the middle back section of her hair.
• 2-different textures that fight each other.

My suggestion:

•Go through and add some layers to bring the “dog ears” up.
• Adding lots of layers throughout to remove heaviness in the back.
• Train your hair!
After years of flat-ironing, sometimes (not always) you can train your curls to COMEBACK.

Talked her through products as I used them on her, based on what I felt she needed.

Truth is this was 2 in-salon sessions and HOURS later for this beautiful final result.
•
Health and integrity are ALWAYS my goals before any Pinterest-inspiration.
•
Factoring in, at home color jobs, hair health, products, porosity, beginning starting level, color unevenness, bands etc, are all important.
•
Back story, her natural level is a level 3.
And it was all previously lightened (at home), swipe to the first 2 pictures.
(No Shame to her)
We all make at home mistakes.
And most anything can be fixed! 🙌🏾

I am so thankful I get to do this.
To help.
To educate.
To correct.
To direct.
To inform.
To rebuild.
To recreate.

On that note, I’m loving all these fiery, coppers and reds lately.
