My husband and I rehabbed this house over the course of the last year. We took it all the way down to the studs and redesigned/rebuilt it from top to bottom. This was such a fun project for me! I got to design with so many different mediums and I learned how to tile in the process. That was awesome! I painted the entire inside of the house myself so when you walk inside, you are physically standing in one of my paintings. It was really fun to imagine a final outcome, sketch something out and have my husband build it. That's how the big barn door was created. I was able to salvage one of the cabinets from the kitchen and refinish it for the bar downstairs. The landscaping took months to wrangle into it's current, healthy look. I had lots of help with that! We used pros when things needed doing that were beyond our expertise - things like installing new: roof, gutters, windows, electrical, plumbing, HVAC... All the finishing work was ours and we're very pleased with the end result. We are looking forward to meeting the people who make this their new home. Whomever they are, they will have a fully updated home that will be virtually maintenance free for many years.
