Fascia Adhesions (aka knots or sticky spots in muscle)





Some examples of fascial adhesions in the trap area (the first two pics are different ones I found). Caused by overuse of muscle with not enough rehab, poor posture or movement, or injury. The last pic shows what it looks like when your muscle/fascia has adhesions and you can see how it affects other areas aside from the part that’s actually knotted up. This is why if a client comes to me with pain in one area, I might not even touch that area and look for where their pain could be stemming from. After a few mins of cupping, the muscle loosens up to the proper length and goes back to normal 🤩
