🎾💎 Serving Something New: The Bloomin’ Garden Racket Pendant
Standing in front of my family’s jewelry store in Palm Springs, I’m holding something very small… but the story behind it is anything but.
Introducing the 2026 Bloomin’ Garden Racket pendant from Ani Fine Jewelry.
At first glance, it may seem a little incongruous—after all, flowers don’t naturally bloom from the strings of a tennis racket. But that unexpected pairing is exactly what design is about: nature and sport, delicacy and precision, legacy and innovation.
Back in the 1970s, when the tennis tournament that would grow into Indian Wells was still played in Palm Springs, my father—Garo Master Jeweler—was asked to create the original tennis pins. That opportunity came through the vibrant tennis community of the desert, including avid tennis player Kirk Kerkorian and visionary developer Richard R. Oliphant.
What began as a small commission connected fine jewelry craftsmanship with the culture of tennis in the Coachella Valley.
Decades later, I’m continuing that dialogue between sport and jewelry artistry.
The Bloomin’ Garden Racket pendant transforms the racket’s strings into delicate flowers—reflecting Palm Springs itself, where even the desert finds a way to bloom.
✨ A reminder that innovation often grows from legacy.
And in my studio, the philosophy remains the same:
