🔥 Caineville Red Agate | Utah Landscape in Stone

🌄 This striking statement necklace centers on a one-of-a-kind slab of Caineville red agate, from the rugged landscapes of Utah. The freeform triangular stone reveals deep red plume-like inclusions suspended within pale translucent agate—like desert earth rising through morning light. The pendant is hand wire-wrapped in warm copper, with the four wire ends artfully embellished using peach freshwater pearls, red agate rondelles, and copper accents, adding movement and a sense of organic flow.

🌿 The 20-inch necklace softens the bold focal with a more feminine rhythm—alternating patterns of naturally banded red agate, warm peach pearls, and copper elements. The agates range from deep brick red to soft translucent orange, echoing the layered tones of Utah’s canyonlands, while delicate pearl segments bring balance and lightness to the design.

🪨 Geology Note: Caineville agate forms in volcanic environments where silica-rich fluids move through rock cavities. The dramatic red plumes are caused by iron-rich mineral inclusions, creating those rich desert tones that feel so tied to the land itself.

🧡 Finished with a copper toggle clasp, this piece is both bold and deeply connected to the natural world—a wearable reflection of place, process, and beauty.

✨ Metaphysical Properties:
Agate is known for its grounding and stabilizing energy, helping to center and steady the wearer. Paired with pearls—symbols of emotional balance, wisdom, and gentle nurturing—this design brings together strength and softness in perfect harmony.

🌙✨ A Quiet Glow of Warm Light
This 19-inch necklace captures a beautifully subtle interplay between softly opaque peach moonstone and the gentle shimmer of golden sheen obsidian. The faceted trapezoids graduate from a 12x18mm center to 8x12mm edges, creating a steady, grounded flow across the neckline—like stones laid in a natural path. Each stone is spaced with taupe-kissed crystal rondelles flanked by gold-plated pewter, adding just a hint of warmth and light, reminiscent of sun catching on sand or weathered stone.

✨ Finished with a gold-plated steel lobster clasp and a 5-inch extender chain for an adjustable, comfortable fit.

🔍 Geology Note:
Peach moonstone is a feldspar mineral showing soft light scattering (adularescence), while golden sheen obsidian is a volcanic glass, with its shimmer caused by microscopic gas bubbles or mineral inclusions reflecting light.

💜 Metaphysically:
🌿 Peach moonstone carries a gentle, stabilizing energy, often associated with emotional balance and a calm, centered presence. Its softly opaque glow feels earthy and grounded—like light filtered through stone.
🪨 Golden sheen obsidian reveals a subtle golden shimmer as it moves, like hidden fire beneath the surface. Traditionally connected with protection and strength, it is often seen as a stone of grounding and quiet resilience.

This is a design that feels rooted and steady—where light and stone meet in quiet harmony.

🌊 A Breath of Blue: Where Sky Meets Water

Soft as a spring sky and calming as still water, these blue opal necklaces explore color, texture, and mood through three distinct designs. Each necklace features elongated, softly contoured blue opal points in a gentle, opaque sky-blue tone—smooth to the touch and serene in appearance.

The collection offers both variation in scale and style. Two designs use pewter cylinders between the opal points for a clean, understated look, with shorter and longer beaded sections to suit different preferences. The third design introduces a playful sparkle—“Blue Grotto” crystals in blue-green tones, flanked by dotted pewter spacers, adding light and movement to the composition.
Inspired by clear skies and quiet coastal waters, these necklaces evoke the feeling of a calm, sunlit cove—where blue stretches endlessly from sea to sky.

Blue opal is often associated with emotional healing, gentle communication, and a sense of peace. Its soft color and soothing presence make it a natural choice for when you want to feel both restful and uplifted.

Choose between simplicity or a touch of shimmer—each necklace captures a slightly different expression of tranquility.

💜 Geometry in Purple
Bold geometry meets the calming depth of amethyst in these divided necklace designs. Each piece features graduated trapezoidal amethyst beads with smooth, brilliantly polished surfaces—rich purple tones accented by occasional swirls and bands of white quartz that make every stone unique.
The design plays with scale and structure. A shorter 6-inch beaded section offers a more subtle, refined look with lightweight chain, while the longer 9-inch version creates a stronger statement with larger stones and a slightly heavier chain to balance the design. Corrugated pewter rounds add texture in the shorter piece, while patterned pewter cylinders in the longer necklace reinforce its bold, architectural feel.

Amethyst has long been associated with calm, clarity, and intuition. It is often considered a stone of emotional balance—helping to quiet the mind while encouraging insight and creativity. The strong geometric lines in these designs give that peaceful energy a confident, grounded presence.
Whether you prefer a more delicate scale or a bold, eye-catching centerpiece, these designs offer two distinct expressions of the same beautiful stone.

To my Wheeler "peeps" I won't be there today as I am under the weather. But, I am thinking of seeing you as the outdoor season starts.

Pictured is a cool partial branch of petrified wood that I was gifted at a recent rock show I was in. The patterns and colors on the exposed face suggest that some lovely pendants will be possible. As I heal, I'm thinking what should be made--"specimen slab" or cabochon. WHAT DO YOU THINK? Comment below.
