It has been a while but I do have new fruits to share. This is one of two Harvest Rings I am making, the second is nearly done but I wanted to take advantage of the break in the rain to take these pictures of the completed one. It will belong to a Mrs Romine come tomorrow, I hope she enjoys it. Stainless steel with silver wire holding an orange and golden tourmaline, the colors of the harvest!

Finally finished. Over a hundred and fifty fine silver jump rings totaling about 120$. 14 hours of painstakingly braiding and silver soldering each ring. Several hours of cleaning in acid solution and polishing. But now the queens link chain mail choker is completed. Still not sure of the asking price....prolly around 300 without the pendant.

Cornbread has returned from his pilgrimage with a new found respect for meditation. He went straight to work in the shop but telling very little of his project. Knowing full well that his fans need attention i bravely entered his personal studio for some news of work to report online.....he answered slowly..... "Queens link chain mail choker, Ha ha, that will keep the blade out of her jugular so she can enjoy the party". Of course none of us have any idea what any of that means but we did receive a large shipment of fine silver rings to which Cornbread has began feverish work upon. I snapped this picture over his shoulder with my phone.

We changed a few things here and there like using a bigger tear drop garnet in the center but now it is done. I have to say im rather proud of my first circlet. Ill have more and better pics of it when the sun comes out tomorrow.
