Prune me to bear Your fruit. πΏππ»
I keep finding myself called back time & time again to Galatians 5:22-23: "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such there is no law."
I wanted to create some type of routine with my kids during breakfast where we begin our days reflecting on this verse together & sharing how we feel the Holy Spirit is calling us to grow in His fruits during the upcoming day.
And so we pray, "Come, Holy Spirit. Help me to bear the fruit of your gentleness today." or "Come, Holy Spirit. Grant me the grace to grow in self-control today."
It's certainly not going to be perfect nor happen every single day, but I want to instill in my kids (& myself!) the awareness and faith that the Holy Spirit is always near to guide us and encourage us to grow in His fruits; we just need to ask.
So with that, I share with you these Fruits of the Spirit magnets that I designed for my own fridge as a fun visual to grow closer to the Holy Spirit through prayer. May they be a blessing in your own homes & in the homes of those with whom you share them. π€
