Pleased to announce 📢 Celtic Legacy will be at Blackbeard Pirates Festival again. This year we will be on Wine St, closer to the Virginia Air and Space Museum. Sat 10-10 and Sun 12-6. Come join us.

Step back in time as our waterfront transforms into an 18th-century seaport, teeming with pirate re-enactors, lively entertainment, period vendors, children’s activities, arts & crafts, fireworks, and more. Witness the legends of Blackbeard and experience Hampton’s history like never before!

📅 Date: Saturday & Sunday, June 13 & 14, 2026
📍 Location: Mill Point Park & Downtown Hampton

🎉 Plus, don’t miss the Grand Pirate’s Bash on Friday, June 12, from 6–9 p.m. at the Virginia Air & Space Science Center. Dress in your best pirate gear and join us for a night of fun, music, food, and pirate tales! Tickets are $35 in advance ($40 at the door).

We are thrilled to announce our first community partner, The Scottish Society of Tidewater ( )!

Founded in 1975 on the campus of Old Dominion University, the Scottish Society exists to share the area’s Scottish roots and teach others about their heritage, whether they are lifelong Scots or simply enthusiasts of the culture.

By working together, we are ensuring that the next generation of dancers has access to every available resource to keep them on the stage. To that end, we want to highlight the Baird Scholarship, a dedicated fund offered by the Society to support the development of traditional arts.

At ZCDF, we believe in “stackable” support. We encourage dancers in the 757 to utilize both the Baird Scholarship and our foundation’s initiatives to remove the financial hurdles of competition and technical training. More information on the scholarship can be found on their website, which is now featured in our Linktree! A link to their public group is also available in the comments.

FUN FACT: Our founder, Haley, knows the value of this community firsthand as the Society’s former President. Together, we are creating a legacy that is as strong and resilient as the dancers we serve. Thank you, SST! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

It may just be warming up outside, and we may be out at Breezy Hill Meadworks this weekend for Harvest Faire presents: Springtime in the Shire, but that doesn't mean that we aren't already thinking ahead to December (especially our vendor coordinator, who starts melting at around 60 degrees)!

Our Vendor Applications for BOTH NonFood and Food Vendors are open starting today! They will be open until June 30th, and vendors will hear back between July 5th and July 15th about the status of their application.
