well what a return to showing birds, back at the Stafford National (last show there was 2019). Congrats to Danny Higgins on his Judging, was nice to spend the day with Chris Jordan, Andrew Beesley and Bob Bulloch, Ray Anthony and have to say the amount of people that said hello / chatted was amazing throughout the day and as im getting terrible with names now apologies if i had a blank look at times................loved my day 😍😍😍😍

I will be attending the STAFFORD show on Sunday Oct 5th in the Lizard section. i will have my East Anglian Lizard Canary Show paperwork, labels etc with me so can take and process entries there and then.

Seems to of been a long long time since i used this page. due to my health taking a hit (sepsis/cellulitis) i was forced to stop keeping birds. this really hit me hard but friends refused to let me sulk and insisted i keep judging which happily i did as 3 yrs later the issues under control, as many know i had to retire disabled due to my main health issue degenerative spine disease and 18 month ago found out i have a crushed/deformed vertebra in my neck from playing Rugby..........but thanks to friends both UK and Belgium iv got some new stock, extended and sorted the bird room out (still not finished but getting there) and with 7 hens have 49 young lizards and i must say they are looking promising. in 2026 i will be breeding with 6 pair for my (what i call LCA line) which will all be LCA rung and colour fed as the traditional rules dictate (all lizards "must" be colour fed) sadly only the EALCA have stuck to the 100+ years of tradition. 😢 i will also retain 3 trios which will be IOA rung as it will be my BLUE LIZARD LINE. any normal bird bred will not be colour fed, (if the stupid people in charge of this country finally get off their high horses and let us go to EUROPEAN shows again without costing HUNDREDS ££££), as its a complete waste of time showing colour fed birds under COM rules. so that said i will have some very nice stock birds to go from October 2025. (i already have some orders to fill) so to where i hope to attend in 2025, STAFFORD OCT 5TH , EAST ANGLIAN LCA 19TH OCT, ANTWERP BELGIUM (judging) 1st NOV, WALSALL CBS (judging) 15TH NOV, MIDLAND LCA 30TH NOV, BKA (southern national) 7TH DEC.

well as the news letters hit the members the cat is finally out of the bag. for tje first time at a Lizard Canary specialist show the EALCA will be hosting not one but THREE shows.
the normal EALCA lizards show which is also an LCA club show .
the Blue Lizard canary club Eastern region show and also non-colourfed classes for those who wish to take part.

WE hope the members will join and support us at out 40TH aniversary event.............your all welcome .(Y)

well with more to come we have an entry of 120+ already.......this will be one of the biggest and best displays of lizard canaries in the country this year and with 10 of the countries top studs competing promises to be a bit special i think :-)
