I've been making jewelry since 1999, driven by a lifelong love for vintage treasures and a passion for reinventing them into wearable art. My journey started as a child, treasure-hunting antiques at flea markets with my father. That early fascination with vintage jewelry turned into a full-blown career
. Over the years, I’ve explored many aspects of jewelry-making—from glass beadwork and enamel techniques to meticulously restoring and upcycling vintage costume jewelry. When I say restored, I mean it: I carefully clean each piece, remove old stones and glue, and hand-set high-quality rhinestones to give every item new life. I transform vintage brooches into elegant hair combs and clips, and rework uncomfortable clip or screw-back earrings into wearable post styles. I also upcycle vintage earrings into the cutest hair pins you’ve ever seen. One of my favorite offerings is re-styling precious heirloom headpieces for brides and their families. I love working with sentimental vintage pieces—perhaps something passed down from a mother or grandmother—and transforming them into modern, wearable designs that honor their original beauty and family history. Whether it's refreshing a vintage comb, updating a tiara, or incorporating heirloom elements into a new headpiece, I approach each project with the utmost care and reverence. My workshop is filled with new old stock (NOS) vintage parts salvaged from costume jewelry makers of the past. Some of these pieces never had stones set—I bring them to life with a mix of new and vintage rhinestones. While raising my family, I spent nine years in sales at Kimera Designs in Brooklyn, specializing in custom wedding gowns and handmade flower headpieces. I styled countless brides using delicate, handmade vintage silk flowers from one of NYC’s last remaining flower manufacturers.
