On January 30th, Mora will be closed as part of the nationwide general strike. We stand in solidarity with the people of Minnesota and in direct opposition to the inhumanity, cruelty, and unlawful actions of this administration—actions that shatter our hearts and do not align with our values.
Silence in the face of oppression is not neutral. When lives are at stake, business as usual is a choice we refuse to make. One day of action may feel small in the face of tyranny, but together our voices rise, our resistance strengthens, and our demands for justice grow louder.
We reject systems like ICE that rely on terror, violence, detention, and family separation. We call for approaches rooted in compassion, equality, and accountability. Human dignity and civil liberties must come first.
Our doors will be closed because people matter more than profit—always.
