MEET THE STEVIE GO-GO STARS
GABRIEL REYES

Last year's NOTS 33: DANCES OF RHIANNON was focused on Stevie's stage moves and deep connection to dance. In any year at NOTS, from butoh to ballet, dance is woven in to our program.

During the long break between show sets we welcome our "Method Stevie Go-Go" stars to the stage. As the audience twirls and screams to favorite Stevie/Fleetwood dance tracks,
we feature dancers from many disciplines to interpret DJ Sammy Jo 's soundtrack.

Returning this year after his stunning debut at last year's NOTS is dancer/choreographer GABRIEL REYES. Gabriel has performed in musicals and productions from Broadway to Radio City and the Thanksgiving Day Parade. He'll appear between Acts One and Two with Ballet Hispanico alum DANIEL PALLADINO.

THE QUEENS OF CALLUNA PRESENT
THE HALL OF THE FLOWER MOON

For the past two years NOTS attendees have filled the RUNE ROOM, a new space within our venue especially for magick, divination and vending. This year, the team at CALLUNA will bring you the HALL OF THE FLOWER MOON in honor of our theme and the full moon that will be in effect. THE WINTER'S DOE and THE SUMMER'S FOX are professional rune and tarot readers, respectively, with over 25 years of experience each.

This year on offer, these fae Queens of CALLUNA are bringing back their well-loved rune and tarot readings and enchanted goods to this immersive space off the main lobby. They are adding in interactive games and secret snacks. Mystic wares made beneath the turning moon include necklaces, amulets, candles, potions, crystals, and beauty glamours.

The Queens sell items for coin that are imbued with magic: the Summer's Fox’s candles to manifest one’s true desires and the Winter's Doe’s necklaces created to draw specific intentions into one’s own life. So fitting for a night devoted to Stevie's special magic, practiced by so many.

A portion of all vending and readings at NOTS is donated to local animal rescue Zani's Furry Friends ZFF for their work with at-risk animals in NYC shelters. We are proud to mark ten years+ of support for this worthy charity

Calluna Embassy holds Gatherings for members, creates pop-up immersives, and offers event support. Calluna aims to bring whimsy out into the world, beyond expected boundaries.

MEET THE STEVIE STARS
POISON EVE

Completing this year's 25th anniversary Gypsy 83 celebration is a celebratory drag retelling of the film's climactic scene at NOTS. Original film costuming (by 1000 STEVIES co-founder Kitty Boots) will be incorporated in the homage starring POISON EVE.

Eve is the co-founder of seminal downtown theatrical drag troupe BLACKLIPS PERFORMANCE CULT and has performed on nearly every New York City stage. A long time NOTS collaborator, Eve has embodied the Alt-Stevie throughout the years in witchy and weird production numbers.

Performing with Eve will be DARLING TOBY "the Fever Dream of Boylesque — exploring the complexities of the male ego through a carnival of satire and sincerity."

Catch the GYPSY 83 segments early in Act Two, which will begin at 11:15 PM.

1000 STEVIES CELEBRATES
GYPSY 83 AT 25

A very special segment of Saturday's show will celebrate Gypsy 83 ( the 2001 cult classic film inspired by NOTS) on its 25th anniversary. We will welcome onstage director Todd Stephens and thesbian Heather Litteer to introduce a new clip of the movie's NOTS re-creation.

Directly following, Blacklips Performance Cult performance queen POISON EVE will take the stage in original film costuming (more on this Stevie Star later) for an homage to the film's shero Gypsy Vale.

To mark the 25th Anniversary, an all-new Director's Cut will be released theatrically this summer by ALTERED INNOCENCE. Containing over 40 minutes of never-before-seen footage and new classic tracks from THE CURE, ECHO AND THE BUNNYMEN and COCTEAU TWINS, the new cut reflects director Todd Stephens's original vision for the film.

Look for the GYPSY 83 celebration early in Act Two.

MEET THE ENCHANTRESSES
PAUL ALEXANDER

Our beloved MC OPAL TUESDAY aka Paul E Alexander has been one of the ENCHANTRESSES OF CEREMONIES at our NYC editions since the JACKIE 60 era.

A Factory Favorite, Paul began as the "Voice of the Night" of the 90’s on recordings including "Walk For Me" and "Flawless" as one of THE ONES and our own "Jackie Hustle". His star turn as writer/director of TRINKETS, an original musical play and his costuming work on plays including Nora Burns' THE VILLAGE are more recent career highs.

Lately he's been curating INDELIBLE, a reading and storytelling series focused on trans lives at the GENE FRANKEL THEATRE. So fitting that "The Voice" would now focus on giving others their voices through this new platform.

Opal's NOTS looks are always eclectic and super creative, reflecting his gift for costuming. (Here's an early one that we adore) He will Toss Tambos to the crowd during Act Two as well as introduce our Aftershow Dance Set "So You Think You Can Twirl" just after the Battle.

It's a rainy Saturday in Gotham and we are working on NOTS costuming for ourselves and our nightbirds. Lucky for us (and you) that The Generic, Non-Specific Stevie Nicks Podcast recently uploaded this entertaining interview with early NOTS Dragstar BellaDonna SantaBarbara.

Bella found us in 1998 on The Nicks Fix and travelled cross country for more than a decade to tear it up! She is also a long time Stevie super fan, from a time when that required a LOT of work and research.

Bella takes us through her journey "doing" Stevie Nicks and the evolution of her interpretation. There's a lot of early NOTS lore and a performer's view of The Night.

This is part of several podcast episodes about NOTS herstory, music and performance as we get close to our 34th New York City edition on Saturday May 2.

MEET THE STEVIE STARS
JESSICA RENDON + HONEY TRAP

In all the chiffon and Wiccan imagery surrounding Stevie Nicks, we never forget that she is above all a Rocker! Honey Trap and their dynamic lead vocalist Jessica Rendon are back to remind us this year. The female-fronted hard rock band hails from New York City, and they bring something totally different to Night of 1000 Stevies.

Lead vocalist Rendon delivers powerful, sensual vocals with an edge over the band's crushing guitar licks and heavy-hitting drums. The band has shared the stage with national acts including Metal icons Black Label Society and female rockers Plush. Recently signed to Rock Son Records/ Virgin, the group will tour Japan later this year.

Look for Jessica and Honey Trap towards the end of Act One. This will be their fourth appearance since their NOTS debut in the late Teens. We promise you'll Rock A Little!

MEET THE ENCHANTRESSES
EDITRIX ABBY

Editrix Abby has been a part of Night of 1000 Stevies festivities for decades and is a longtime ENCHANTRESS OF CEREMONY (M.C.) for the NYC and New Orleans editions. She began as a NOTS door goddess in the Highline Ballroom era of the show. She also is a longtime co-producer on other Jackie Factory productions including the Halloween annual "Ghostlight".

Abby is an East Village flamekeeper currently hard at work on her third alternative NYC venue. She is founder and head wytch at Hekate Café & Elixir Lounge, an intimate East Village "sober bar" and elixir/tea shop fueled by feminine energy. She also owns Lucky, the community minded dive bar across the street on Avenue B. And she is currently birthing B SCENE nearby. We expect this new arrival to be a much needed haven for all sorts of local non-commercial music and performance.

A costume fanatic, her Stevie looks never disappoint. Catch one of our custom tambourines from her during the Act One "Tambo Toss" - its her favorite part of the show!

CELEBRATING WHITE WINGED DOVES
A NEW STEVIE NICKS POETRY ANTHOLOGY

NOTS wouldn't exist without the extraordinary fan culture that has grown around Stevie through the decades. We are always excited when this culture takes a new turn. In celebration of the new White Winged Doves: A Stevie Nicks Poetry Anthology, debut performer Anthony Lower (Philadelphia) will read one of his Stevie poems next Saturday. More about this wonderful poet performer to come, but first, the book!

WHITE WINGED DOVES will be released late next month by Texas based MADVILLE Publishing. Editors COLLIN KELLEY and MEGAN VOLPERT have gathered works by over 60 poets paying homage to the Goddess Stevie Nicks.

"From haunting ballads of heartache to empowering anthems of liberation, this collection of poems in White Winged Doves embraces the wild spirit and introspective depth synonymous with Nicks’ artistry. Poets channel her iconic imagery and fierce individuality, crafting an homage that resonates with both tribute and innovation."

We are proud to include this unique work in our evening's offerings, with a special shout out to NOTS photo chronicler Michael Montlack, whose poem "Night Of A Thousand Stevies" also appears in the collection.

MEET THE 2026 STEVIE STARS
AMBER MARTIN

All hail the Queen! 1000 STEVIES audiences in both NYC and NOLA have adored Amber Martin since her show debut. Last year she was on tour at NOTS time as a member of the newly re-formed Scissor Sisters - along with witchy sis Bridget Barkan. We are moonstruck by their return to this year's NOTS at Irving Plaza May 2.

A Beaumont, Texas native, Amber was greatly inspired by her homegirl Janis Joplin and several other great female performers of past eras. Onstage, Amber brings a combination of cabaret, belting vocals, comedy and first-hand true stories to her live, raw, genre-hopping musical performances.

She's a frequent guest with show pals like John Cameron Mitchell worldwide and her own BETTE BATHHOUSE project - a reconstruction of Bette Midler's mythic gay bathhouse shows. She was recently named one of the Top Performers of the Year by The New Yorker.

Look for Amber late in Act Two of NOTS, which puts her onstage between 11:30 PM and midnight.

MEET THE 2026 STEVIE STARS
KRYSTOFER MAISON

After a stunning debut at last year's NOTS, we are delighted to welcome back otherwordly vocalist KRYSTOFER MAISON to NOTS 2026. This theatrical storyteller has a voice that stretches across genres, moods, and nearly three and a half octaves. His artistry was shaped by a decade of classical and musical theatre training and a love for romantic composers like Puccini and Rachmaninov. (Plus a fierce connection to modern icons like David Bowie, Elton John and Lady Gaga.)

With Krystofer’s recent single “Glitter Rinse Repeat” he began releasing his debut album. To celebrate the single, Maison planned and performed in a theatrical pop spectacular/ regional tour called THE GLITTER BALL culminating at Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square. These shows are part of the 50+ venues he has played in as late, from CITI FIELD to JOE'S PUB.

The album is a "biomythography" about his artistic journey blending operatic drama with synth-pop shimmer. The second single SAPPHIRE is out later this week.

In this "Year Of The Vocalist" at NOTS, Krystofer will add his unique, virtuostic skills to one of the titanic Fleetwood Mac "Stevie Songs".
