and begins to take form.

I follow that moment.
From landscape to hand,
from wax to metal,
from object to body.

Each piece carries that movement.
A record of attention, of touch, of becoming.

One of my favorite things in life is questions.

I live inside them.
They are an active part of my process.
I always ask how far can I go with this shape?
What gesture feels good?
What curve lands as a good feeling in my body?
When does it feel complete in its inherent truth?

But asking a question is not just searching for an answer.

I am starting a relationship.
I am courting my Muses.

When I work, I listen back.
I feel into what I’m making.
Where it wants to go.
What is aligned, and what is not.

And I try to also bring this awareness back into my daily life.

Which reminds me of the Worlds most famous inquiry:
Who am I?

But for me, this question is too vague and maybe even to tough. Because we might not be set up to answer it right.

But if we did deeper and instead ask
Who was I before I knew my name?
Before conditioning.
Before the ways I learned to cope.

What is my core, primordial self?
What is my inner flame?
My true essence?

Maybe we will start to feel its true pulse ❤️
