In 2009, to celebrate an important moment in her life, founder Katherine Kane set out in search of a pendant featuring her initials and could not find a piece that met her taste in terms of quality and design. All the monogram jewelry on the market looked the same to her, and she wanted something that better reflected her personal style. After designing and handcrafting her own pendant, friends an

d strangers repeatedly asked her to make them similar pieces. Katherine left her job working in the Marketing Department at luxury diamond jeweler Harry Winston in 2010 to earn an MBA from Duke University and realize her lifelong career dream of starting her own jewelry company. Today, K Kane jewelry allows customers to express themselves and celebrate their loved ones in style by translating sophisticated, hand rendered monogram designs across a variety of beautifully crafted accessories.

I met years ago at one of my Veronica Beard pop-ups on Nantucket ✨ This fall, she and her soon-to-be fiancé, Jimmy, reached out about creating a custom ring using her grandmother’s spectacular Old European Cut diamond. Reilly was drawn to oval shapes but wanted something more unexpected. K Kane’s signature seamless three-stone vertical design was the answer, with Reilly’s vision bringing her family’s treasured vintage round diamond to its center.

In Reilly’s words:

“I’d always imagined my engagement ring having an oval diamond, but at the same time I wanted something that felt a little more unexpected. Something artful, romantic, and unmistakably my own. When Jimmy and I were gifted the center diamond passed down from my grandparents, it felt like receiving a beautiful piece of history. We knew the diamond needed a jeweler who could honor its legacy while creating something forward-thinking and deeply personal, so we chose K Kane.” 💗👰🏼‍♀️
