✨ “I feel like her essence is in me.”

Sometimes, the things we treasure most didn’t actually belong to the person we lost - they simply carry their essence, their style, and their memory.

We love Erica’s story of her grandmother’s influence, legacy and the solo trip to Paris taken to commemorate it… all wrapped up in a beautiful fur coat.

Erica had a few treasure stories to share with us at our Central Park Story Bar, but as two women who share a mutual love for each other’s home cities and a deep obsession with Paris, this one had to be shared. A story honoring a grandmother’s metropolitan legacy will always win our hearts.

We can’t wait for Erica to preserve the rest of her legacy on somethingtold.com, ensuring her siblings and nieces never have to wonder what these memories meant to her.

✨We’re kicking off Mother’s Day month by reflecting on ’s special treasure from our April Sip & Story.

There is something so profound about wearing a piece that you watched your mother wear throughout your entire childhood. It’s more than a ring. It’s legacy in motion. And we can only imagine the joy it brings her mom to see that same sparkle now worn on her daughter’s finger.

We’re so honored to have this story preserved on Something Told for future generations to know, and to cherish. 🤍

Pro-tip: Remember that your treasure’s story is a living thing! You can update and edit your entries as you uncover more dates, specific moments, or “core memories” that make these pieces so special.

✨To treating ourselves, to remembering the sunny days that leave happy imprints on our hearts and to being…“a little tipsy!”.

Jen showed up to our April Sip & Story - less because she loves the stories in her keepsakes - and more because she loves supporting her friends 🥰 Yet, in the moment, she realized she had Something to be Told of her own. And now that special memory is preserved with these beautiful diamonds in her own digital treasure chest on our platform for future generations to know.

What an incredible story from . It’s a beautiful testament to the love, memories, and legacy that one cherished item can hold.

We’re honored to give a home to the story of Grandma Lib’s motorcycle glasses - but even happier that you shared its meaning (and a piece of yourself) with us.

What do we think about furs this winter if we inherited them from our great grandmother?!?
