Keiko Mita's inspiration comes from the beautiful landscapes and crystal blue seas of Rebun, the tiny northernmost island of Japan where she was born. Her Long Tear Drop Earrings, which are handmade from Palladium and feature her signature Dune texture, are 62 mm long and 9 mm wide. The contemporary earrings from her Sand Dune Collection have a finished back with a scroll pattern and are accented with 0.10 Carats Diamonds (total weight) at the top. Palladium is a lustrous white precious metal, like platinum, that does not tarnish and is hypoallergenic. It is the perfect metal for the sensitive woman who wants to make a statement.

Her stylish Oxidized Pearl Face Framers, which are 1.65” l x 0.25” w x 0.25” d, are hand fabricated from Oxidized Sterling Silver and 18 Karat Yellow Gold with 5 mm Cultured Pearl accents. These contemporary earrings frame the face in a classic combination of black, white and gold. The high polished gold ear wires are visible behind the ear and create a dramatic contrast and sense of depth against the oxidized Sterling Silver. The ear wires latch securely.

Hand fabricated, formed, and engraved from layered industrial painted aluminum, the unique brooch is 2” in diameter. David calls his brooches “cartoonos roundos” because they tell a story similar to cartoon panels in a newspaper. Each brooch begins with a sketch and is completed within two hours to keep the idea fresh and alive.
