Chris and I are so grateful to our hometown and all the amazing patron and artist support you all show us! This artists life is truly a dream come true, and we are forever grateful! Many of my "boom boom" jewels have found their forever people this weekend, but I've still got lots of sparklers in my booth waiting for adoption🎆. We're here until 4pm today, so come see all the art and enjoy the air conditioning!

Primordia "First Thread" earrings with Mozambique garnets, Melt Sculpted sterling silver, and Gold Flow tips

The ideas of legacy, passing things down through generations, and the inevitably of the past impacting the future have always been common threads that run through my jewelry. Here, I'm representing these thoughts with hand-fabricated threads of DNA. In my earlier work I often used actual threads to represent these ties that bind past, present, and future.

Swipe to see a few shots from my graduate thesis show, Uranium Daughter, back in 2015. At that time I was delving into the nuclear industry and it's impacts both globally and hyper-locally here in STL. This past has affected the future legacy of my own family along with so, so many others across my home city and the world.

On a fun art note, because my work both then and now is so "crunchy" as I like to say😆, I knew stark white pedestals wouldn't give the work the context I wanted, so I commissioned a sculptor to help make custom pedestals for the show. I paired warm wood with rusted industrial steel legs to show the juxtaposition of nature and industry. I still have my pedestals, and they were the inspiration for the warm wooden jewelry stands you see in our booth today✨️

I can't lie, this Primordia "Ancient Heartbeat" ring featuring pyrite druzy and Yungai turquoise with white and cognac diamond accents has stolen a bit of my heart

Volcanoes inspire me for many reasons, but one big one is that they reveal to us the heart of our precious planet straight from the source. They offer our most direct line to the ancient core and reveal it to us, ready or not!💥 They're a terrific reminder that this surface we see as "ours" really isn't, and it is ever in flux.

Starting September out with a BOOM!

These Big Bang "Echo Nova" earrings with Gold Flow firecrackers and diamonds are so pretty on! They have tons of dynamic movement and texture. They make me think of miniature versions of cosmic level chain reactions caught in silver and gold

This Big Bang "Star Dial" necklace has the sweetest pale rose cut ruby with tones of silver schiller running through it. I paired it with a sparkly gray spinel to accent the gray tones running through the stone. It's been adopted, but I've been busy making new versions for our upcoming September shows

There was also a lunar eclipse in Pisces (my own moon sign placement) last night, and I happened to catch it. As much of a sky gazer as I am, I normally make a point to not try to view eclipses or even pay them much mind. I usually inadvertently sleep through them like some sort of cosmic lights out or opportunity to unplug for a bit lol💡🔌💭Apparently this one though, I was meant to see, so here's a few I snapped from the studio windows.

I got flashy with this Primordia "Golden Signal" ring in solid 18 karat yellow gold with hand carved radiating texture, signature organic double "V" and golden arc design motifs, and a smattering of cognac and ch*****ne diamonds!

We're so excited for our fall show lineup this year! Last November Chris and I decided that we wanted to try to do more local events in 2026, and we're happy to share that we will be very busy but also sticking around home in St. Louis the entire month of September, which we haven't done in forever! I've been working hard at the bench getting ready for a stretch of 8 back-to-back shows starting in our hometown with these amazing events:

Interrupting the jewelry for some Mac cuteness!

It's always hard to be on the road without our most adorable family member, but knowing he's in such good hands and having fun with his The Watering Bowl fam definitely makes it easier! Thanks for all these sweet memories Watering Bowl! They are fridge worthy for sure, and I couldn't help but spread the cuteness this morning!

What a gorgeous day it is here in Park City, Utah 🌞

It's the last day here at Kimball Arts Festival Kimball Art Center and we've had such a great time meeting all the lovely patrons and other artists and staff these past 2 days! If you can make it out we'd love to see you 😘 we'll be in booth F635 until 6pm. Hope to see ya!
