Had the pleasure of speaking at my old high school, it’s legit crazy that it’s been 16 years since I graduated! High school was such a rough time for me, not because of the normal dramas but going through the courts for legal emancipation, I was legit an adult and no one knew not even my best friends who are still my best friends til this day. I had my own apartment at 17 years old, working full time all while going to school full time. I always had vision but I’ve always been the executioner as well. That’s why when I say I want something or I’m going to do something I don’t need a single soul to understand, agree, or even believe in me because all my life its been me and GOD. He’s done so much in my lifetime that if this is all he ever does I’d be eternally grateful. However, how blessed and favored am that I have an amazing circle and support PLUS Gods grace, love, mercy, and selection that I know he didn’t bring me this far JUST to bring me this far?

1st Annual Unapologetically Us Galentines was such a success! 💕

I have never been a fan of Valentine’s Day despite if I was in a relationship or not, however once I had children I began taking part. Once I embarked on my healing journey I started viewing it a little differently, less about what social media and businesses push and more about the different forms of love. I still don’t like going out on Valentine’s Day, or the emphasis placed on who can buy the most expensive gifts but I do focus on the nurturing aspect of it all.

This event was curated with a very specific type of love in mind: SELF LOVE 💕

As women it is so easy to fall into the habit of taking care of others as mothers, sisters, girlfriends and wives but somewhere along the line time flies and before you know it the thing we said we would do for ourselves at some point never happens. So we took this time to reflect on the past, assess our present, face the future, and work on our healing a little more. All while breaking bread sharing stories, connecting, and building our community. By the end of the night we were singing our hearts out after playing some games and taking how ever many shots.

The night went exactly as it should and was still more than I could have imagined or hope for. The energy was perfect and wouldn’t have been the same without the women in that room.

37 Days into 2026 and my year has already been amazing.

Accomplishments:

Secured a partnership with a children’s summer camp in Greenwich

Enrolled 10 new students into sewing courses

Over 80% booked for February and was fully booked again for January

Finally created balance in my schedule where I have time for me and my family

Did my physical and all labs to see what areas of my health I need to improve and God be the glory all I need is a little more vitamins, nothing crazy!

I really could keep going, instead I’ll just focus on how grateful and blessed I am!

If there’s one thing ima say over and over again is GOD DID & DOES! Include him in everything.

I literally just posted a video showing y’all my PR packages and tell me how I think I wanna be an influencer now joke was on me though because whole time I was already an influencer and being influential in my community. Shout out to TikTok for inviting me to this event and this being my first content, creation event meeting, amazing people and connecting. I did so much networking last night. I cannot wait to see the new relationships that blossom from this. I already made one friend Who I can’t wait to connect with again.

my therapist asked me a month ago. You’re already a full-time entrepreneur who does Lashes, has her own sewing studio and teaches others how to sew, the sewing instructor for the department of education in Connecticut, and a contracted seamstress. Are you going to go for a fifth title? I guess we will add influencer to that now 😂😂😂 but really and truly that’s more like the seventh because let’s not forget about my podcast 😏

I learned so much and left feeling so inspired and thankful to God because the timing of everything is so alliance with where I am in life right now. Glory be to the most high at all times let me start writing my award speech 🏆🏆
