I'm closing up my shop to move and I am wondering if I should open it up again. After over 10 years of doing this I can't compete with horrible whip makers selling s**t items for low prices.

I've spent thousands of dollars and thousands of hours perfecting my craft and it doesn't seem to matter to most people.

Being one of the best at what I do hasn't really worked out with so many wannabes polluting the market with s**t merchandise.

Yup, I couldn't wait to say that.
Be ashamed if you're one of those beginner whip makers selling things that look like a snake ate a rabbit.

Something I don't normally do, a fused English Eye. A customer asked for a fall that would accommodate tying on or looping it through with a Lark's head. The hole is made with a Fid so not to cut any of the strands. Then delicately melted to keep it's shape.

SOLD - Discounted from $225, the Red bled into the White after waxing. It's a wonderful whip, I just hate to see it not find a new home. Performance Whip - 5 foot thong, naturally weighted with a twisted taper core, single belly and a 12 plait overlay. 16 inch handle, fiberglass core, 16 plait overlay. 18 inch fall. Overall length around 7.5 feet. Waxed. $125 plus shipping.
