Goddess On The Rise
โLiving Singleโ Actress Erika Alexander has gone viral after going in to further details about her familyโs history with witchcraft, spiritual rituals, and coven-like practices tied to the Deep South. During interviews, Alexander described growing up around healers, root workers, and relatives believed to practice Hoodoo and all manner of folk magic. She claimed that her father was a powerful healer and her grandmother, the strongest of them all, was known for making and selling powerful โgoofer dust,โ a substance tied to old Southern folk magic and spiritual rituals. According to Alexander, her grandmother eventually became deeply involved in the practices and at one point โtook it too far,โ allegedly returning home with her body twisted, moving on all fours, and barking like a dog in what relatives believed was a terrifying spiritual episode. Alexander said a preacher was called to pray over her grandmother and warned that if she ever returned to the coven in New Orleans, โshe would come back in a box.โ She claimed that just two weeks later, her grandmother allegedly returned deceased in a coffin โ a story that has since fueled intense online debate over spirituality, folklore, generational practices, and the supernatural. Alexander also said her family has long been viewed by some believers as one of the most powerful, respected, and feared covens in the United States, with deep roots in Southern spiritual traditions and New Orleans folklore.
