Hey folks - I started a new job in the jewelry field recently, and am learning a whole lot about techniques, which will ultimately improve my work significantly. I'm really excited! Unfortunately, I also recently broke my right index finger on the job, so I'll be taking a sabbatical while I regain full dexterity. I will also be selling a large portion of my supplies, with an eye toward a complete reset when I come back. Every finished piece will be on sale at a steep discount alongside said supplies, so keep an eye on my etsy shop!

A good friend got married recently, and I had the honor of making her wedding jewelry. :) Rose gold with sunstone, morganite, and storm-grey pearls - there's a necklace and "earring jackets" so she was able to wear her mother's diamond earrings in a way that tied them in with the necklace.

Informal poll time! I'm going to start applying for more vending gigs, with an eye toward filling up 2017 with as many as I can reasonably manage. Does anyone have a favorite convention or festival (that would be a good fit for my style) in the general vicinity of the east coast? Right now, ideas/suggestions include:

January: Arisia in MA (possibly art show if I don't have the authority to vend, tax-wise)
