Treasure Pieces Wire wrapped beachglass, rock and shell jewelry I have always looked at our "treasures" and thought, wow these would make beautiful jewelry.

For years my family and I have been collecting beach glass, shells and rocks from some of our favorite beaches and rivers. I decided to give it a try and fell in love with the process. My family and friends encouraged me to sell the pieces and after some deliberation, decided to go for it. The beach glass was found at beaches and rivers in Vermont. It is glass that was, at one time glass bottles a

nd other glass and pottery items that were dumped into the lake and rivers
from garbage dumps (one man's garbage is another man's treasure!) and over the years was tossed with the waves, current and sand. The lake glass is more washed and has a frosted look to it. The river glass isn't quite as washed, but just as beautiful. The rocks that I wrap are a rock called Iberville Shale. It is found on some of the shores of Lake Champlain. Each rock has a beautiful natural design and unique pattern. A grand example of God's beauty found in nature.
