Cecil Caboose became part of our family in October of 2013, but his name and image wouldn't be used to advertise earrings until spring of 2022! Cecil is a long haired chihuahua who is very soft and cute - from a distance. When Cecil's mama got married in 2020, she searched the internet for earrings she could wear that wouldn't cause her sensitive ears to turn red and itchy. When she discovered hyp

oallergenic plastic earring hooks and posts, she was ecstatic! She began converting all of her earrings into accessories she could comfortably wear. After fifteen years of avoiding earrings, the whole world of adornment opened up! Eventually, she had made more earrings than she could wear, so she started listing them on Etsy. Surprisingly, they sold quickly - it turned out that many people have a sensitivity to metal earrings, even pure ones, and plastic hooks are difficult to find. She began buying charms and beads to make her own earrings to sell, and then decided to venture into polymer clay! The earrings took up so much space that her husband rearranged the furniture and purchased a large desk for her to work at! Now Cecil Caboose, named for the fluffy and slightly antisocial chihuahua, can be found on Facebook, Etsy, and its own website, www.cecilcaboose.com! You can also find us at various vendor and craft shows, with new designs almost every week! Cecil Caboose now offers clip-on earrings in any of our designs, pendants, mini ornaments, wine charms, custom graduation tassel earrings, and more! We LOVE doing custom designs and personalizations - if you have an idea, we can make it happen!! We love making accessories that ANYONE can wear!
